Ellen & Portia Tie the Knot

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and longtime partner Portia de Rossi said "I do" this weekend in an intimate ceremony.

"Extra" has learned that 19 guests watched the happy couple exchange handwritten vows -- and tonight, well-wishes are pouring in from Hollywood's finest! "I wish her all the best -- all the happiness," shares "Grey's Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl. America Ferrera adds, "I'm just so happy they can love each other in an official way."

Ellen and Portia walked down the aisle at their Beverly Hills mansion. The Emmy winner, 50, and the "Arrested Development" star, 35, have been dating for four years.

Hate to burst your bubbles but I believe this is WRONG. If I was the president I would end these marriages. If they wanted to be together fine. But not married.

There’s a reason female and male body’s or different.

Don’t get me WRONG, I like Ellen, I think she is very nice and funny. I would take her instead of BIG FAT LOUD MOUTH Rosie any day.

Im happy for them! Ellen’s a great role model in a way: she’s herself and doesn’t care what people say. And i like how she had an intimate wedding and not some extravagant thing. Best wishes Ellen and Portia!

It is truly sad that people think this is ok!! I know you shouldn’t judge, but I think if it says in the Bible it’s wrong, then we are allowed to say it is WRONG!!

Marriage is for a woman and a man, whose love can create new life. Two women cannot create life. They have something California is temporarily calling marriage, but it is not a true marriage.

i think it’s fantastic
im happy for them :)
maybe this will open some
peoples’ eyes and help them
realize that ‘different’
doesn’t necessarily mean ‘wrong’.
