Does McCain's Pick Help His Chances?
John McCain has picked Sarah Palin to be his veep -- in a move that makes the 2008 election even more historic.

If you weren't a McCain supporter before -- are you now?

You Obama supporters are as nuts as you are blind. Palin has more executive experience than Obama, who is not the VP candidate, but the actual candidate for PRESIDENT. Period. Obama has stated outright that he doesn’t think that Iran is a dangerous state, even though they are actively attempting to create a nuclear weapon. Electing Obama is dangerous and irresponsible.
Before you vote, do your homework. The Communist Party USA does not endorse, but go to www.cpusa.com and read up on what policy issues they DO endorse. Sound familiar? Next google Frank Marshall Davis [early influence according to Obama’s own writings]
First off, Obama is not a muslim, and he does believe in the bible. Pls people get your facts straight. Secondly, I lost all for McCain for choosing Palin. There were so many other candidates with way more experience than Paulin that he could of chosen for a running mate. He did what he did to get woman voters, and young votes. Yeah, she’s a mother of 5. A governor, 2nd runner up for miss Alaska, soccer mom, etc. But where does she stand on economic issues & foreign policy? She’s pro-life, not pro-choice. If something was 2 happen to McCain, Paulin would be Commander in Chief. Think about that people. Listen to both sides, and try not judge based on the color of skin, or on their gender alone. Based it on what they stand for, and what they hope to accomplish, and what they can do for this country.

I just can’t wait til next weeks RNC, the laugh I’m a have the late night talk show hosts are going to be full of jokes. They put clips and sound bites of bush clips togther he can’t hold a straight sentence and Mcain is no different walking around waveing his little arms, and his babydoll wife, boy I just can’t see it she wouldn’t come close to Ms. Obama I couldn’t see her speaking for five minutes. They should just let her introduce her husband and keep it moving, they just boreing. So get your pop corn ready it’s going to be a bunch of laughs.
I think McCain is playing games with America’s future. This is not some game of oneupmanship. She may be a nice lady, but is she being used?
I was a huge McCain supporter, even helping the campaign. I now feel different. I think it is clear McCain in not a leader but a follower, this a desperate move. Folks, she has only been in office for 1 1/2 years. Other then that She was a small town mayor… part of the PTA, basketball team manager. Would you want this woment to be president should something happen to McCain? Scary. At least Biden has a outstanding background in forgein policy. And have you noticed she is always naming brands she wears like North Face, and Nike tennis shoes, ect…. looking for an endorsment deal, Google her to see what she is really about. I am sure she is a great mom of 5, but that does not prepare you for the most important job in the world. By the way this is a proud American women writing this post. Oh and Rich in the above post, do the research on her, she has very little experience compared to Biden. Please America look a the big pic, would you feel safe for this women as our President? So she can bake cookies,SHOOT moose, I mean this is some craziness!
I was a McCain supporter until today when he made such a foolish move to pick Palin for VP. Nothing personal against her, she is just not qualified for VP. She has a degree in journalism, has been a city council member, mayor, chairwoman of oil and gas commission and a governor for 2 years. She doesn’t have any background in economics or offer anything that our country needs. Even Michelle Obama has more qualifications than her, at least she has a law degree from Harvard! How is she going to assist McCain or run this country if something were to happen to him? I am not an Obama supporter; I cringe to think of what is going to happen when either one of them becomes President. We need an independent candidate!
I can not believe anyone says Obama has experience. Sarah Palin has far more experience than any of the three. Are we for change then the change comes with McCain who has voted time and time again with Liberals and change with Sarah Palin who has proven she is for change and the people.
I will never vote for anyone who is willing to reverse woman rights. I will never vote for anyone who is willing to keep our kids at war. I will never vote for anyone who 90% of the time voted along with BUSH. I don’t want more of the same. I want CHANGE..a change we can belive in. McCain only pick this lady because he thinks AMERICAN WOMEN are stupid enough to vote for hm because of her. well i’m not stupid, and I want change.!!!! OBAMA FOR CHANGE WE CAN BELIVE IN !!!!!!
I won’t vote for anyone would is willing to take away pro-choice from us woman. I also won’t vote for anyone who is willing to keep our kids at war. A war which should have never been waged in the 1st place, I wonder if this lady is willing to send her children to war ??
Anyone who would vote for more of the same deserve what they get. This country has gone to hell in a hand basket due to BUSH/McSAME. I would like our kids home from war. I also would like another choice other than drilling for oil. Having picked a woman VP who is literally anti pro-choice does not help woman.
I was a Hillary supporter who changed to McCain prior to his announcement today of Sarah Palin as his running mate. With Govenor Palin as his running mate it just solidifies my choice for McCain as president. For those of you who think he made this choice just to get Hillary supporter votes, he met with Sarah Palin in FEBRUARY and she has been on his list way before Hillary was out of the running! Her experience may not be as MANY YEARS as Obama or Biden, but executively speaking she has more experience when it comes to actually running a state. Obama is a JR SENATOR and Palin is a GOVERNOR. Big difference!!! That’s experience! McCain and Palin will get my vote this November!
I’m one of those recalcitrant Hillary supporters. I was voting for McCain before, now I have another reason; an inteligent woman as VP! Experience?: She’s in charge of a state, holding a position of authority already. Obama’s experience: what about 20 years under the dogmatic ideology of his anti-American pastor & mentor who preaches bigotry & racism? Obama is where he is now thanks to all the women in his life:his mom, his pushy wife, Hillary & Oprah..so I bet he will agree with McCain’s choice for VP:)
The political antics from this past week have left me dazed, scared and confused. I’m ready to crawl into the nearest corner and get into a thumb-sucking fetal position. Where is honest ABE LINCOLN when we need him?
I was going to vote for McCain anyway. I will not vote for Obama under any circumstances. He has lied about being a muslim, cheered the Rev. Wright on for 20 years (hates America as Wright does), pals around with terrorists (Wm. Ayers and his cousin dictator Raila Odinga) and believes that black people should rule the world. Well, good luck to him, there aren’t that many black people in America who can put this fraud in the White House! McCain/Palin ‘08 (Hillary Clinton 2012!)
Obama has spent most of his time in the senate
on the road campaigning , right after he was elected Senator he was on the Opra show
coyly campaigning for president
he has absolutely no experience at all in government
How is he going to run the country ?
Really people, think about it…
I will definitely vote for McCain
How insulting to women. Does McCain really think we’re all so dumb we’ll fall for this? That Hillary’s followers would fall into line just because a woman, any woman, would be his VP? Come on McCain! You need some new advisors. You just tipped the scale in favor of Obama…big time.
Sarah has more executive experience than any of the other three. She is an articulate, bright individual who is willing to take on the establishment. Obama is a panderer.
I am an Arizonan and McCain is an ok senator but not presidential material, no matter who his VP pick is. We refer to him as “McFlip” or Bush=McCain. Do not forget his temper too! It appears at all the wrong times. Our country needs to move on and not remain the same with more of the same type of politics.
