Will 'Grey's' Give Heigl the Boot?

Is there a hit on Izzie? After her controversial decision to pull out of this year's Emmy race, and slamming "Grey's Anatomy" writers in the process -- Katherine Heigl may be getting the ax from the hit ABC show, reports E! news.

Rumors of tension between Heigl and the show's creator, Shonda Rhimes, have swirled as Katherine catapulted to box office stardom -- and became vocal about the lack of written material to work with on "Grey's." "It's not good [on set]," says a "Grey's" source. "Shonda is pissed. They're thinking of killing her off. They want Izzie dead."

A rep for Shonda said, "I haven't heard anything about that." Reps for Heigl and ABC declined to comment on the story.

It always funny to me that people always like to dump where they got started..If it were not for Grey’s we would be like Katie who!! Interesting. But I will love the show regardless on or off..

I think Katherine did the right thing by backing out of an Emmy if she didn’t feel her role deserved one this season.I do think that Ms. Rhimes has it in for her ever since the racist situation on that show developed. Her character got a lot of exposure before she backed Mr. Knight when “Mr. Whats His Name” called him a disgusting name and yes it was a racist situation because it was black on white and if any of the white characters called “Mr. Whats His Name” the N word there would have been no discussion as to whether the person should be fired from the show as we’ve seen it over and over again. Ms. Heigl seems to spark contreversy for doing the right thing since that’s such oddity these days. Keep up the great work Katherine we need more people like you in the world !!!

Well there goes any reason I had left to watch the show. Katie is the best thing about Grey’s and right now that show needs her far more than she needs it. ABC are just trying to get some publicity for the new season if you ask me.
