McMahon Suing Hospital over Neck Injury

Ed McMahon is suing a Los Angeles hospital over a neck injury that left him unable to work.

"We had hoped to avoid a lawsuit, but our discussions were not fruitful and we were left with no other option," McMahon's spokesman Howard Bragman said in a statement. "That being said, we believe our suit has great merit and we expect a favorable resolution."

The former "Star Search" host is suing Ceders-Sinai Medical Center, who he said let him leave with a broken neck. He is also suing two doctors and the owner of a home where he says he fell and the injury occurred.

This guy is bonkers….He is all washed up as a celeb…so he is now suing hospitals and probably friends to keep his young wife and himself in luxury. They both need to take full responsibility for not preparing for their future…they need to downsize…(that is what most of American’s do when they retire)…shame on both of them.

I love Ed McMahon to death, but come on, give me a break! Why would anyone with his work history in the entertainment field have a mortgage AT ALL at his age???!!! I don’t care how many divorces you have had in the past, I think this whole story speaks to the whole notion of living well beyond your means. Ed should have been able to retire when Johnny did if he wanted to and enjoy his golden years. How many people do YOU know that are still working at 85??? I wish Ed the best, but give me a break!!!
