Matthew McConaughey and model/handbag designer girlfriend Camila Alves welcomed their first child - a 7 lb., 4 oz. boy named Levi -- Monday evening in Los Angeles.

The proud mom, Camila, visited "Extra" a few weeks ago to promote her handbag line, MUXO -- and dished about the baby advice her mom gave her. "The best advice she told me is you're going to feel it," said Alves. "You will know what to do when it comes the time, and I am here for you whatever you need."

McConaughey, 38, is currently filming "The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past," while Camila, 24, has been busy promoting her designer handbags. This is the first child for both.
