Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and comedienne girlfriend Sarah Silverman have split after five years together, reports Vanity Fair.

Reps for both Kimmel and Silverman issued a joint statement confirming that the two jokesters had broken up, saying, "Jimmy and Sarah have no comment and will have no further comment." The breakup follows wildly popular Internet song spoofs in which the comedic lovers claimed to be involved with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

Last month, the "Jesus is Magic" star dished to "Extra" about loving her funnyman beau -- but revealed that the two weren't planning on marriage. "We're not the marrying type," said Silverman.
