And about that haircut: the guy needs a haircut, right where he is, right when he needs it, on short notice, that will look good on television from any angle, and you’re steamed about himpaying what that’s worth? Should he have stiffed the barber? Would that have made him a “straight talker”? Why are people so offended when highly skilled people who work hard make a decent living? Yeah, sure, I know, $400 haircuts are titillating, but shouldn’t we try to be a little more grown up? Sure, Edwards MIGHT have had an affair; I don’t know, though what I do know about him makes it seem to me to be unlikely that he did. But I won’t believe he did unless some proof comes out from a source rather more reputable than the National Freaking Enquirer.
