Hi Dr. Erika, I am a 54 year old female, diagnosed in May with Stage 3C ovarian cancer. Surgery went well, I’ve had 4 Chemo treatments; 2 to go. My CA 125 continues to go down; I’m presently at 49. Do you know of anything else I can do? I’m taking B6&12 and a multi-vitamin and a RM-10 mushroom supliment. I’m trying to understand acid/alkaline ph balance as I keep hearing that could help as cancer supposedly cannot grow in an alkaline base. And I’m trying to also watch my sugar intake as I’ve been told ‘sugar feeds cancer’.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Hi Dr Erika,

I am 40 yr old female, a vegetarian who is extremely careful with my diet and work out every day for 2 hours. In spite of this well balanced diet and exercise I am not able to loose a single pound of weight. Please help.

I am in good health and dont have a lot of weight to loose. I want to know if there is a diet supplement that is safe to take. If so, how long should you take it for? I do workout about 4 times a week.
Thanks

Dr. Erika. My question is there anything that I can do to make my stomach flat? I had a child 5 years ago, but I workout constantly and am very thin the only thing that I can’t seem to tone up is my stomach.I did have bad stretch marks and still have slight scarring. Could that have anything to do with it?

JAIMIE - I also had a thyroidectomy, in 2000. Always thin, I slowly gained 20 lbs since my surgery. Hopefully it’ll just take some time for your body to adjust for pregnancy. Best of luck to you, and let’s hope Dr. Erika can give us an answer!(I sent her an e-mail as well)

Dear Dr. Erika:

My 12 yr old daughter was given HPV vaccine at school, should I let her take all three shots or should I stop her now?

Thank you.
