Winehouse Diagnosed with Emphysema

Troubled songstress Amy Winehouse has emphysema -- and if she doesn't quit using drugs, she could be "dead in three months," Amy's father Mitch told the UK Daily Mail.

"The doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs it won't just ruin her voice, it will kill her," said Winehouse's father. "With smoking the crack cocaine and the cigarettes her lungs are all gunked up...She's got 70 per cent lung capacity."

The "Rehab" singer collapsed at her London home last week, prompting her father to take her to a hospital for tests.

What a tragedy. She’s such an amazing talent, and she’s going to waste. Amy’s so much like Janis Joplin, and I’m so afraid she’s going to end up like her. I will keep Amy in my prayers. I hope there is a way she can get help before it’s too late.
