i am just wondering what your reasoning was for making this comment. what you have to say about her appearance aren’t purely observations, and doesn’t seem to be coming from a place of concern for her or interest in her wellbeing…

so why make these judgmental, disrespectful comments? and especially since there is no way of knowing if the rumor or the sentiments you are suggesting she has are actually true. maybe you just really need to gossip? and if this is the case and you just enjoy gossiping and putting other people down then calling a friend might be a better and more respectful way of expressing these kinds of thoughts than writing a disparaging, unnecessary comment in a public place, which is really just rude, petty, and mean-spirited. about what you had to say… in my opinion kelly ripa looks like she is in great physical shape, and if she has or were ever to have any issues with her health or physical condition those would be a personal matter and one she should have the chance to address privately.

i wish people didn’t feel a need to be so judgmental and petty, and while i know both exist and we all gossip and share our opinions with friends, i am sorry that it has become so acceptable to post mean-spirited messages in public places. posting observations you have if you’re curious if other people agree with you (which would still be inappropriate really because what gives us the right to pass judgment on other people- who we don’t even know-at all?), if some sort of sharing opinions is necessary to your life would also be a kinder and better outlet.

as for what you had to say… first of all the page you commented on is a clip about kelly ripa’s great style, the note at the bottom about the no-pocket rumor was just a funny side note. that said, in my opinion kelly ripa looks like a thin woman who is in great physical shape. also i think that if she does have or were ever to have any issues with her health or physical condition those would be very personal and are things everyone should have the chance to address privately. what’s more your comments about her desire to wear only clothes that add no dimension to her body and her presumed goal to look as if she doesn’t eat are things it would be impossible to know and are rude to accuse her of. i don’t know her personally so i have no opinion, although both sound like ridiculous accusations and are only a way to further disparage a woman who is successful in her career and family lives.

p.s. this really had little to do with your message and more to do with what it got me thinking about, and because you wrote this publicly i decided i should do the same with my reaction.

I’ll BET she really DOESN’T want pockets on her clothing!! Pockets can sometimes add width or bulk, and she doesn’t ever, ever want people to think she eats ANYTHING by looking even remotely dimensional!! She’s become absolutely unsightly - she could USE some pockets!Or a meal. A cracker, anything!
