Shepherd One of Clinton's Flock

Cybill Shepherd is disappointed by Clinton's defeat for the Democratic nomination, but supporting Obama now -- and the actress was teary-eyed as she talked politics with "Extra" on the set of "Samantha Who?" as she taped a guest appearance for the ABC comedy.

"I love Hillary Clinton -- she's a great woman. I believe she would make one of the best presidents in American history... I'd go to the ends of the earth for her," said Shepherd, adding, "If Obama gets the nomination, when he does, I'll go to the ends of the earth to have him nominated as well, but Hillary Clinton has a special place in my heart."

Cybill, who stars on "The L Word," weighed in on the Lindsay Lohan lesbian rumors, offering, "Whatever blows your skirt up, is an old expression, is fine with me."

Perhaps twirling skirts is the way to go for Cybill, who was recently approached to be a contestant on "Dancing with the Stars" -- but will the actress hit the floor? "I love ballroom dancing -- I've been offered 'Dancing with the Stars' -- I'd love to do it," said Shepherd, "I'm sure I could do it, it's just really a really hard training period and I just haven't had time to devote to that."

NEXT: Obama Clinches Nomination

Please, Cybill, don’t speak for all women. Speak only for yourself. I don’t find Hillary an inspiration at all. As a strong, independent, progressive woman, I have no respect for a woman who would demean herself by staying with such a philandering, disgraceful, dumbass of a husband and for not gracefully bowing out of the race before causing harm to the Democratic party. She’s incited so many people that those who were going to vote for her will now vote for McCain. She screwed the Democratic party and Obama…Hail to the Chief will be played for John McCain because of her.

Sorry George and Cybill, but not all Democrats feel as you do. Being a democrat myself, hillary isn’t my vision of change and unity nor is she a leader. We all have the civic right to support who we want to see lead our nation.

Obama clearly proved with his victory last night that he is what this country needs and hopefully are ready for. We cannot afford another B-U-S-H term and McCain incorporates every Bush philosophy.

America was built with the notion of change. We need change. We need lower gas prices, etc. Hopefully in the general election, America will look past RACE and COLOR nominate OBAMA, a man who is the best hope for C-H-A-N-G-E is country desperately needs.

I love Cybill Shepherd very much. She and I are both democrats and we both support Hillary Clinton. We both see eye to eye on politics. Shepherd said that Hillary has a special place in her heart. I have a special place in my heart for both Hillary Clinton and Cybill Shepherd.
