Shania Twain is breaking her silence on her split with hubby Robert "Mutt" Lange, posting a statement on her website thanking fans for their support -- and detailing how she'll get through her difficult journey.

The "Still the One" singer wrote, "I wanted you all to know that I could not be getting through this without you... I have so much to say but I know the best way for me to speak is through my music. This is my therapy, my passion, and my love.

Twain and Lange announced their split in May, sparking allegations of an affair between Mutt and the couple's house manager in Switzerland, Marie-Anne Thiébaud. The two denied reports of a romantic relationship.
