Michelle Obama's 'View'

0618michelle4.jpg

Michelle Obama appeared on "The View" today, where the stylish prospective First Lady opened up on everything from fashion to her relationship with her husband, chatting with the panel and guest Matthew Broderick.

"You look gorgeous," co-host Sherri Shepherd said. The 44-year-old has been compared to Jackie O, and looked fresh in a black and white print summer dress and pseudo-bouffant. She addressed her controversial Milwaukee campaign stop comment, "For the first time, I'm really proud of my country," by saying, "I am proud of my country without a doubt."

While they've been married since 1992, Michelle actually wasn't sure about Barack when they first met at Harvard Law School. According to Us Weekly's Jill Martin, Michelle "tried to set him up with friends, but once they started dating, she says Barack swept her off her feet."

I believe Michelle Obama would make a great “First Lady”. She is classy, opinionated and has style. I agree, this is not why anyone should vote for Barack, but it’s good that she complements him. The issues and plans to address them are what we should be discussing. Decent jobs, the economy, the mortgage crisis, oil dependency and health care for all. Health and security is what we need to persue happiness in this county, our unalienalble rights!

I think the Obamas are FAKE !! This womans husband wants to run our country and he couldn’t make the decision to leave a black racist church now he wants to be able to make decisions for all people of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA !!!!!

It amazes me that in the 21st century we are MORE concerned with whether or not someone “looks” like a first lady…these ridiculous comments REEK of conservative, biased, oppressive, and privileged politics, usually tinged with hypocritical values!

This is why our country is in the shape it’s in!!! We spend more time analyzing and raising hell about a “look” and adverb (“really”) than questioning and doing something about $5/gallon gas and the mortgage crisis! If I sound pissed off, GOOD!!! Get a clue and even better yet, GET IN TOUCH WITH REALITY and the lives, plight, and concerns of the majority of AMERICANS. This is why people are enamored with the Obamas and anyone else who doesn’t REEK the filth and hypocrisy of the Republican party! Anyone WITHOUT an agenda and .2 cents for a brain would know Michelle Obama meant nothing malicious by her comment. In fact, just the opposite—PRIDE—that ALL Americans can achieve the American dream.

How sad that we allow anti-americans on a program, one who is not proud of her country and is indeed a racist, who sits in an all black church for 20 years and hears mockery of whites and true Americans and does not leave.

I thought she was very fake and tried to hard to be someone she is not. I have to agree she tends to come off harsh. She should just be who she is and not try to be a Jackie Kennedy.

Michelle Obama IS exceedingly classy just like her husband. She has great style and that would be obvious to anyone…well, anyone unbiased. She’s also brilliant and accomplished - she would make a great, modern First Lady.

That’s way more than can be said about Hillary Clinton unfortunately, who is capable and tenacious but I doubt most people would mistake her as classy.

Michelle Obama appeared to answer all the questions respectfully and correctly. She almost always comes off opionated as where this time it appears she was coached. The sad thing is she does not appear to be “First Lady” like, there is nothing really classy about her as with most first wives.
