Locklear Pals: Heather Not a Substance Abuser

Days after Heather Locklear checked herself into a rehab facility for anxiety and depression, friends of the TV staple are shooting down rumors that Locklear is actually being treated for substance abuse, reports People magazine.

Heather's gal pals are also nixing whispers that Locklear required an intervention to get help for her emotional and psychological problems. The support network for the actress -- including beau Jack Wagner and 10-year-old daughter Ava -- stand by the star as her health battle continues.

Heather, I wish you well. Rehab is nothing to be ashamed of, you deserve a pat-on-the-back for seeking help. My son battled depression anxiety and sleep deprivation was getting help but lost his battle in 2007 at the age of 29 again I wish you well and will say a prayer. God bless you !!!!!
