Nicole Kidman is about to have her first child with hubby Keith Urban -- and the mother of two (she adopted Connor and Isabella with ex Tom Cruise) is opening up to Vogue magazine about her anticipation to welcome the newest member of her family.

When she saw the first ultrasound, Kidman said, "I started crying. I like the unpredictable nature of it." Adds the Oscar winner, "To feel life growing with you is something very, very special, and I'm going to embrace that completely."

Seven-months-pregnant Nicole is patiently waiting for her bundle of joy -- and her flick "Australia" -- which hits theatres in November.
