B2B was the highest selling double disc for a woman ever. Also the tour was the highest grossed tour of 2007. I wouldn’t really call that a flop, and it outsold un- fitneys last album. First of all why is Britney heading on to record? I think she’s only releaed 3 singles out. So it’s kinda early to do new recordings at this point in time, isnt it? Christina shes more creative she worked among the greatest during duets and her vocals are amazing live and she knows how to put on a performance i like britney but christina puts in more effort vocally and creating her album and christina’s album will be better made and quality wise.

Britney has songs that do well on the radio and in the clubs but don’t really have much depth or lyrical meaning. Christina writes songs that are personal and have emotions but aren’t the most radio-friendly. They both fill their own niche.

This has nothing to do with sales, and if you were some type of a reasonably educated person you would base album sales between artists only on the fact that they have both released the same amount of albums.

Both Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears started their singing career in 1999 as well as Christina, but if you took the time to notice, J’Lo has released 5 English albums, 1 Spanish album and 1 Remix album. Britney has released 6 Albums (including a Greatest Hits Album). Then we get to Christina who has only released 3 Studio albums, 1 Spanish album and 1 Christmas Album. You cannot possible base record sales upon the above figures because clearly they have each released a different amount of albums!

I’m not hating on any of these artists, but you have to remember, out of 5 albums, i’m almost 100% sure that Britney has only co-written 10 songs, while Christina has either written completely or co-written each and every song on her last 2 albums, plus she’s writing and co-writing for each and every song on her up-and-coming album, PLUS, she co-produced every song on her Back To Basics album!!

As I said before, i’m not hating on anyone, but I just want people to understand that artists like Britney Spears get their songs written for them, so although there is a minuscule amount of talent within Britney, everything is done by other people behind the scenes to make her seem like the superstar that people see her as. Whereas Christina basically does everything herself; hence one of the reasons why Christina takes a ‘break’ between albums, so she can prepare what she has to do with each album!

People who base their opinion on either the artists looks or album sales are idiotic because you cannot achieve an outcome to the question of “Who is the better artist?” without analyzing all the facts first!!

lmao what Christina has accomplished is nothing compared to what Britney has accomplished. There’s a reason why Britney is winning this poll so dramatically. Christina is a nasty person. Her fans act just like her. It’s so funny because on some forums they actually ban certain artists. Like Britney, Beyonce, and Pink. They ban these artists on Christina’s forums because they are more successful, and prettier than the clown fact Christina. It’s so funny.

The trouble is, we wouldn’t even know who britney is today if she didn’t have her songs written and produced for her. she gets credit for ‘co-writing’ songs which could basicly mean changing little words like ‘and’ or ‘if’. On the other hand, christina participates in the writing and production of her music much more. Christina definatley has a great voice which is how she got her job in the first place, whereas britney got to where she is through her looks. it is debateable over who is the most talented, because the way britney puts herself across used to be appealing to alot of people and christina singing talent is unique. The fact remains that there are many who look beautiful and can dance like britney, but there are very few who can sing to such an extent as christina. Britney may sound better live but Christina should get more credit as she actually sings instead of lipsynching. Britneys records may sell more and sound better to the majority on the basis that she has had mostly everything arranged by her record company and others around her. In terms of talent, Britney’s music seems very overrated while Christna’s music is very underated and degraded through opinion due to the image she puts across. As Christina adopts different themes for each of her albums, and she plans to use a futuristic theme for her next album, I would say that Christina’s next record will be slightly better than Britney’s in terms of how it sounds, and not who has made the most effort with their own work (which is likely to be christina anyway). I do agree that Britney does seem to have a nice personality though, but sometimes that is not enough to make good music.
