Have Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon officially sealed the deal? Reports that the two were hitched are now being confirmed by Nick's family member, Linda Cannon. "Yes, we know. He called us and told us all about it," Linda told E!, "We are happy for him. If that is what he wants, then we are happy for him."

News of the newlyweds broke yesterday, and while the New York Post reported that the couple tied the knot at Mimi's recently purchased private home in the Bahamas, Linda was mum when asked for specifics. "I'm not going to give you any details," she said.

A source close to the "Touch My Body" singer also revealed to the Post, "Everyone is happy to see her happy -- and it could work out. Some people know each other for five years and get divorced. Maybe this is true, instant love."

Rumors began swirling when Carey was spotted sporting a rock on her ring finger -- a diamond which looked suspiciously like the ring Cannon gave former fiancée, Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks. However, a rep for Ebanks shared yesterday that it is not the same ring.

There has been no official confirmation of the couple's nuptials.
