Shania's Double Betrayal
After a devastating split from her husband of 14 years -- which, a source tells People, "came out of left field" -- Shania Twain is dealing with more heartbreak -- the loss of a good friend. As a picture from People magazine suggests, the woman allegedly behind the country crooner's divorce from her producer hubby, Marie-Anne Thiébaud, was someone who Twain considered a good friend.
Not unlike a typical country heartbreak song, Mutt and Marie-Anne are reportedly having an affair, which fueled the musician couple's divorce. Marie-Anne has been a longtime friend of the pair, serving as secretary and house manager at Twain and Lange's Swiss retreat.
"Their two families would vacation and spend holidays together," says the source. "Shania considered Marie-Anne one of her best friends."

Mutt is a mutt. Shania is beautiful and talented. But she shouldn’t have left Mutt alone so much. Men will stray if left alone too much or if they spend too much time with another woman. He helped make her a star and for that I’m sorry for both of them. But I really feel sorry for their son will suffer the most from this break-up. Too bad, they seemed like a great power couple.
