Senators Rally for Kennedy

0521kennedy.jpg

Senator Ted Kennedy has been an agent for change since his election to the Senate, where he has served for 46 years. When news of his brain tumor reached fellow senators and political colleagues, some of them openly wept, reports NY Daily News.

Affection for Kennedy crossed party lines. "I have described Ted Kennedy as the last lion in the Senate," said GOP presidential candidate John McCain. "He remains the single most effective member of the Senate."

Senator Barack Obama, whose presidential campaign won an unexpected endorsement from Kennedy, called the diagnosis "grim news." Obama added, "He has been there for the American people during some of our country's most trying moments, and now that he's facing his own, I ask all Americans to keep him in our thoughts and prayers."

Teddy has been released from the hospital and is returning to Cape Cod, reports AP.

NEXT: A Date with Britney

Wept tears of happiness that he will finally be leaving the senate a place he monopolized for 46 years. Murderer and all around bad guy finally gets his “karma”. Satan is waiting for you Teddy and standing by him is JFK and RFK and dear old mobster Daddy.

I just wanted to tell the Kennedy’s that they are in my prayers. My father has a category 4 brain tumor that is inoperatable and he is going through chemo right now and has to do radiation. I know what your family is going through. You all need to stick together during this difficult time.
Please don’t share this on tv

Good luck to Senator Kennedy, as a 46 year old women & 20 plus year survivor of Cancer, it was so very touching to see all of the other US Senators’ his age give their heartfelt wishes for Kennedy and the true love they expressed for the Senator and his family. God Bless!
