Paula Leaving 'Idol'?

"American Idol" is feeling some heat after all-time low ratings -- and now "Extra" has the exclusive reactions from every "Idol" insider on the rumors that America's #1 show is getting a makeover next season!

"We've suffered from the lack of personality because [the contestants] don't say anything," Simon said to "Extra," "people want to see emotion!" While this season's singers may have lacked emotion, judges Simon and Randy encourage viewers not to rush to judgment. "It's like the whole country's watching this show," says Cowell, "so I actually don't trust the system." Jackson agrees, saying "The last I checked, there's still more viewers than any show on TV -- it's all good, baby."

It's all good for the superstar show, but what about for their partner in judging, Paula Abdul? Tabloids are swirling with rumors that judge nice may be getting the "Idol" ax -- but host Ryan Seacrest nixed the speculation, confirming that Abdul isn't going anywhere!

Tonight, the biggest change on "Idol" will be for the contestant getting the boot. Watch as three become two -- tonight on FOX!

I know the ratings of American Idol are down, so I really don’t believe Paula is leaving, just a publicity stunt

the show would not american idol without her. i think she adds style to the show.

quit picking on paula. i would NOT watch the show if they booted her off. she’s very gentle and great with these kid who need to have confience. randy and simon don’t give these kids any confidencve

I don’t like to watch Paula. She rambles on about nothing. Half the time it seems like she is drunk or on drugs. Maybe she should take a class in Speech. My favorite is Simon. Sometimes he is mean, but everything he says it right on the mark. He has toned down the mean comments this year.

love Paula! shes my #1 reason for watching Idol. Wouldnt it be Very stupid to replace the judge who gives them BY FAR the most publicity? its basically Paula 80 %, simon 10 %, ryan, 10 %, randy 0 %. paula.. you know, it’s up and down with her but you know what.. that makes it Interesting to watch the show and watch her. whereas randy may be very consistent, but I just dont care!
