I have nothing against the guy having a personal life, but does he really need to talk about it publicly right now. Shouldn’t he be more focused on the tour and recording a good album? Just my opinion..

Everybody seems to care way too much. David Cook seems to be a very down-to-earth guy. And if he DOES in fact see these comments about his personal life, I don’t think THAT would be very good for him. Furthermore, I think everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but some of these comments are just plain rude and should have never been posted.

Kimberley is definitely using DC coz of his being the AI winner and being “hot” right now. Who knows Kimberley until now, so you guys see. Her web searches increased and people were curious about her when nobody knows her. She is for sure using DC to get back on her career. Wake up David, don’t be fooled by this cheap b*** who is just using you to be famous.

I also heard that they had the ‘dinner date’ in NY. WHY would she be so stupid to do that.Well guess we really know the answer that that question. Better question yet why would he be so stupid to allow it. She is only trying to get noticed from his fame. I do hope he wakes up soon, before she ruins his career. I gave him more credit than that, at least in taste of women. It is going to be very difficult for him now to find someone who really likes him for him, and not for what he is or to become. He best be very careful!!!!!!!! The likes of this Kimberly is exactly what he needs to stay away from.

I don’t know, I don’t honestly like Kim Caldwell for David Cook, just because he’s such a nice, naive and decent guy, and Kim’s obnoxious. I’m sorry, that’s just my opinion. But it was just a date, they’re not gonna get married anytime soon! So we’ll see.

Unfortunately, I think she wanted to jump on the DC bandwagon, to promote some of HER music that will be coming out. He is a really nice, uncomplicated , sincere person. I hope the skanks of Hollywood don’t ruin it for him.He deserves a nice young lady, who isn’t going to parade him around like today’s flavor. Next thing you know, he will have the Paris, Lindsey, Jessica Simpson brigade following him.. That is the trouble with fame, the hangers on, who live vicariously through others. .Why on earth did she FOLLOW him to NYC? He has so much to do..unless of course, he invited her..( not too smart a move, I doubt Idol would go for that. ) An idol for 1 week, and he has made it on tmz..probably page six too…..

I am really disappointed in David’s choice (Kimberly). She has never been a favorite of mine. She might be nice, but she appears to be very demanding, and pushy. Why couldn’t she wait for David to return back to LA for the date, and allow him to have his moment in the sun with all the interviews, press, shows, etc. that he had to do in NY, and not follow him to NY. Was she afaid she would miss out on all the fame he is generating, and maybe he would forget about the date when he returned? Being that is the only way she seems to get any real attention. I think he should go for someone more like him, respectful, family/faith based, etc. I am old enough to be his Mother, and by a stretch, real stretch maybe grandmother, so I am not a jealous 20 something fan.

Come on, they had ONE date, and everyone is turning it into a hot romance. And Cook is only saying “maybe” to a second date. Cookie and Kim would make an adorable couple (and they are two of my favorite Idols ever), but people are jumping to conclusions after one dinner together.

Missy, you don’t speak for David’s fans. Most folks really don’t care who David dates. We like his music. We aren’t obsessive and controlling trying to withhold our support of an artist because we object to a couple of dates he has. Geez, go get a life and stay out of David’s.
