But since then, she's made a turnaround under the conservatorship of her father, choosing to stay low-key and focus on rebuilding her career with a small role on CBS' "How I Met Your Mother."

The chaos surrounding the downtown L.A. courthouse was calm in comparison to October's hearings -- except for one excited fan who tried to give Britney a bouquet. Before the superfan could shower her in roses, Brit's bodyguards intervened.

Britney's next custody hearing is set for July 15.
