Swayze's Treatment Plan Revealed

Early reports of Patrick Swayze's pancreatic cancer said the star had just weeks to live, but "Extra" spotted a healthy-looking Patrick working on his private plane in Los Angeles this week.

Now "Extra" has learned about a revolutionary new treatment which may hold some hope for the "Dirty Dancing" star -- the CyberKnife, a machine that delivers bursts of radiation to cancerous tumors with pinpoint accuracy.

In March, Patrick's physicians announced they were optimistic about his prognosis, saying, "Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far."

Patrick has said that he's blown away by the outpouring of support from around the world. As fans wait for more good news, send your own message to Patrick - by leaving a comment below.

I have learned so much the hard way and after the fact and I am sorry that Patrick that you have cancer.I have lived through it twice and had too much radiation with my Hodgkins and never had any chemo with that or my breast cancer even though they wanted me to both times.I have been so blessed to learn what I now know.I feel the Lord has put me on a path to help educate others. Why we do not learn more about are bodies and options and leave it up to the doctors because they have a Dr. title in front of there name blows my mind.I would have done everything different if I knew then what I know now.Fungal(Molds,Mycotoxins)are basically what causes cancer.Radiation and chemo drugs are antifungals. We breath them and feed them and with the enviorment being so bad in which they can adapt and we can’t makes it a huge health issue and it is connected with just about EVERY ILLNESS and DISEASE.There are alot of options for treatment and alot of really good safer (holistic,Homopathic) options and approaches but you do not here so much about them because mainstream (conventional) medicine is what people here of and that the doctors are there help uus which is not always true because they just treat the symptom not the source of the problem.PLEASE CHECK OUT KNOW THE CAUSE.COM and google anything pertaining to health.I have way to much to talk about and too much info to put here and it is not too late to check other things out and do not let the C-Word scare you.We all have cancer cells and it just depends on what you are breathing eating and touching.Do research on Hyperbaric oxygen. There is so much info I would love to give you and if you wish you could have someone e-mail me.Please do not just leave it up to the doctors calling the shots.I found out 10 years later that I had to much radiation and I now know it never stops affecting you and I had that at Stanford.I wish I would have researched before I let them do unnecessary stuff to me and then live with the consequences.I will pray for you but there are alot of choices that are safer and just as effective.Belva

I am praying for you and your family. As a nurse, I understand the medical side of what you are going through. As a person, I cannot begin to comprehend having to go through this in the media spotlight.

Best wishes and I hope for a complete and speedy recovery.

Mr. Swayze,

It seems as though all of these people know you, PERSONALLY!! I, myself, unfortunately, have not been so lucky. I am just a single mother, on the verge of heading into the hospital myself, with a son with Special Needs, who’s heart deeply feels for and goes out to you and your family as you face this very trying time ahead. I strongly felt the need to write and let you know that my thoughts and prayers will also be with you and your loved ones as this challenge is before you all.
Best Wishes&God Bless you in your fight.
