Star Jones and Al Reynolds: It's a Wrap

The transformational Star Jones, former "View" hostess, is splitting from hubby Al Reynolds. They married in a lavish NYC ceremony 2004.

The TV legal commentator filed for divorce on March 26. In a statement released by Star, she said, "Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman."

Rumors that the two were on the rocks surfaced last November, but the pair vehemently denied the bust.

That’s what happens when you brag so much. Then you solicited free services from so many vendors. Shame on you who could certainly pay for your own wedding.

What did you expect Star after being asked to get married at a basketball game?!! How UNromantic!
Glad you took the rose colored glasses off and saw what we KNEW!!

The current state of the institution of marriage is a mess. Gay people marrying straight people with the hope of a miracle transformation… Straight people who turn marriage into a game show or reality series… If we (as a society) cold find a way to support authentic love between adults and not not genders or our pre-fab idea of what a normal relationship should look like, we’d hear less about train wrecks like this… As for Star, I didn’t care about your business then, still don’t. Good luck finding yourself again. I liked you better when you were working in the DA’s office.

OMG. Come on! That marriage was nothing but a farce from the start. Everyone can clearly tell he is gay (whether out or not). I was wondering how long he would be able to maintain the charade and he lasted a lot longer than I expected. Star you were a better person, real and true and beautiful when you were fat. At least you knew who you were and you would never have played out this way.
