i agree carly can sing but should not have been on idol. she had 2 recordings that failed not fair to the other singers. have to say no one is really that great this year.

I’m so disgusted with the voting, I’m debating about whether I want to invest in what has apparently become a teeny bopper popularity contest. In the past I had always been happy to play a part in finding true talent. Yes there have been mistakes before but none like this, Carly was clearly in the top two. So what has Idol become” What”s the point of crowning someone American Idol, if there not talented enough t headline a show? Them What’s the point? Maybe the judges should have a say like in Dancing with the Stars? Otherwise this show is doomed. I know there laughing all the way to the bank, but artistry should mean something.

Carly was way better than Syesah,Brooke and Jason - Idol is a popularity contest and the boys have more teeny bopper fans at home, Carly doesnt need Idol to succeed , she will follow Daughtrys path ! GO Carly !!

I am so upset with American Idol right now! This happens all the time..the best singer gets voted off. Carly was amazing and was tehcnically the best vocalist in the competition. Someone needs to crack down on the show. This popularity contest has gotten way out of hand! Carly made the show with her amazing vocals and peppy personality. She will be missed!

This is all a conspiracy to get off all the talented ones so David A. has no competition. Watch next week it will David Cook going home, the weaker singers are all going to stick around.

Carly did NOT deserve to go, but she is amazingly talented, and has a great career ahead of her. I will miss seeing her on Idol, but I hope to see her on tour this summer, and I know record companies must already be bidding to sign her. The best of luck to you, Carly!! I’ll buy your CD when it comes out.

Jason had 3 great weeks in a row and an off night Tuesday because he was very ILL (possibly pneumonia!). He deserevd to stay! Sorry about Carly…I felt she deserved to stay too.
