And while he went on the record again and openly admitted to dating soft core porn actress, Krista Allen, at the time (as did she, btw), he has now recently denied it to Esquire. So yes, Clooney does try to present himself as having personal moral standards that he does not in fact possess.

I can’t remember ever having seen someone with no other qualifications other than sleeping with someone famous ever get so much press! Has anyone else? George is a self described party animal. She probably is too. But I don’t think she was ever an escort. You get that from a misquote gossip column or something? She was a cocktail waitress/hostess and made good money the only way people with no serious career interest can make a lot. By trading on her looks in sexually provocative ads for money. A lot of attractive women who aren’t really “model quality” do that kind of stuff.

Clooney has never been bent on finding his career equivalent, has he? So why the shock now? The term “modeling career” is a lose one in this case. She’s doing what a lot of women do, who don’t care about much besides glamour and clothes. When presented the opportunity, they do “buzz modeling”, based on the aura around Clooney, for as long as it lasts. That hardly makes her a bad person.

The person who said that women read other women better is full of it.
