Reneé Zellweger says she has no plans for kids. "Motherhood has never been an ambition," she told London's The Times.

The "Leatherheads" star, 39, added, "I just take things as they come, each day at a time, and if things happen, all well and good. I just want to be independent and be able to take care of myself. Anything else is just gravy."

She did not mention her brief marriage to Kenny Chesney, which was annulled -- after she cited fraud as the reason for the breakup. There is, however, one man she'll talk about -- George Clooney. She said of her "Leatherheads" co-star and director, "Do connect me with George Clooney. Connect me with him as much as possible!"
