I think it goes to show these young celebs - you can never be too careful w/ your image. I don’t think any harm has been done or any intentional harm was meant but I have to say…no one should be taking and publishing a photo of a girl that young covered only by a blanket. I think an adult should have known better and a flag should have gone up w/ someone. She’s just a child and it’s a lesson learned I think….I hope.

Well…i like Miley and i think that this picture was no called for….and i say this because i do like her and i wish to see her turn out better then some of these other…well “ho’s”…brittany spears i liked her to but now look at her its gross…i cant even look at her without feeling hate…i wish girls would not have to use their body’s or figures like this…its rediculous…SHE IS 15 YEARS OLD….if my sister HER AGE did that i would smach her back into reality for real people wait til shes atleast 18…and even then she should watch how far she goes with it….

These pictures are being blown way out of proportion. You only see her back, they are not sexual or pornographic in nature or intent. Give the girl a break, she is a 15 year old teen that is the center of attention for all young kids, she does have her own life. These pictures are beautiful and artistic. As the father of a young teen daughter I personally see nothing wrong with them and think the media is once again blowing something up just to gain ratings regardless of how it affects Miley or her fans. At least this girl is not running around either pregnant or already having three illegitimate kids. That makes her a role model in my book.

The picture was really cute…. but i think Miley went a little to far with this.My younger sis who is 7 said she looks older then she is. BUT her dad let her do this… what was he thinking?!?!?!? She probobly lost a lot of fans with this picture!!

omg i think that it was just a mistake and the photos were not bad at all. miley is on 15 and just at her young age her hed is screwed on good. i just think that people are taking this all wrong. she made a mistake not even that bad. she really does desserve a second chance..

I have no problem with these photos. Photography is an art form and these are taken in a very tasteful way. There is nothing provocative about them. They are quite beautiful in my opinion.

Let’s be honest, if this weren’t in the news, most of her fans (teens or younger) wouldn’t even see it. Do we really think they read Vanity Fair or even know that’s the name of a magazine. The photos are fine, leave the poor kid alone.

i think that people makes mistakes on pictures that they take even thought miley is young and has a lot to learn in the world of entertainment, but if her parents approve of the photo why should anyone care, her parents know what is best each parent has a differnt form of what they think is wrong or right so just get over it she looks beautiful get over it you know that you have seen cleberities in photo worse than her

I think that you guys are blowing this WAY out of perportion! If you keep this up she may turn into another Brittany Spears! Just leave it be! this is no big deal… it is natural and artistic, she is still a good kid so leave her alone.

i think miley’s phot was very pretty…she wasn’t showing any skin that shoulnd’t be shown…the picture with her dad was also pretty…juss cause she is 15 doesn’t mean anything..she should be embaressed because of the picture..she is very pretty. she should be able to do whatever she wants, especiallly if her mom and dad are okay with it…MILEy dont let these lil petty hatin females give you too much!! lol

I am a grandmother ,and I dont see anythimg wrong with the picture of Miley , we still love her and she is agood girl.

I have a 12 year old dughter, and I know for cetain, as a responsible parent, I would never condone my daughter of any age posing for a picture like that. And no, it is not art!!!

PEOPLE she is 15 years old!!! The pictures are inappropriate. She is just another girl that is trying to act too grown-up for her age! Unfortunately, for her and her parents she is a famous actress that will be criticized by the media and public.

I was definitely not impressed. Since she is such a strong role model for kids she should think about what kind of image she should be representing. It’s even more disturbing her parents were right there for the shoot. Kind of puts things into perspective!

It doesn’t change my mind about Miley Cyrus, since, I don’t like her anyways. But she’s only fifteen, she needs to make her own mistakes and learn from them as she gets older. Also, just because she’s a role model for younger kids, doesn’t mean they are actually going to see the pictures of Miley topless. Maybe the paparazzi should just get off her case a bit. Go stalk Britney Spears some more ;-)

Lets face it, she is 15 and is still naive as to how the tabloids and even some reputable magazines work. Vanity knew exactly what they wanted, and that was to sell magazines. Who could deny Annie’s request for a shot that she believes is in the best interest of the person? I believe the adults on the set (her father was not there when that shot was taken) should have intervened on Mileys behalf and stopped it right there in its track. Sure Annie would say “artistic”, she cant say it was for greed or her own public recognition.

Sure Miley could have known better but the pressure was there and no one stopped her. Shame on the adults.

well the pictures are very taseful and do show anything at all . I think they did a GREAT job at it and if her parents were there then I think they would have stopped it if they thought it was none tasteful
