Jason is an awesome, awesome performer. Archuleta has no where the maturity that Jason has. I, too, do not understand why people do not realize the times he forgot his words. Jason has never done that. We are voting on their performance not their hair. If we were voting on hair, David Cook would get no votes. He can not even comb his hair before a performance.

Another contestant forgot their lyrics and actually started over—something that has NEVER happened before on American Idol (or any live, professional performance I’ve ever seen for that matter!) and yet you choose to only critize a young man who went on stage extremely ill and had a hard time performing up to his full potential because of it. This show is so obviously *biased* against Jason (don’t think we missed you jumping on the whole “he doesn’t care if he goes home” bandwagon earlier this week!). I can tell you he has a HUGE fan base and we will be turning Extra OFF from now on!

Also, he is not the only one to get bad reviews from the judges, yet he’s the only one to get their performance bashed on your headlines. Really professional let me tell you. Thanks for giving me another reason not to watch your show.

One poster said he had to be given an IV backstage between the rehearsal show and the actual show Tuesday night (dehydration?). No mention of this on the show but someone said Ryan did say something about “hope you’re feeling better” in the rehearsal. Supposedly, Jason didnt want it mentioned because he didn’t want pity votes.
