The 25th Annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards was a star-studded evening with pop music's finest in attendance. Music legend Lionel Richie picked up the Lifetime Achievement Award, but dished to "Extra" about his greatest personal achievement... being a grandfather to Nicole's 4-month-old daughter Harlow!

Nicole is busy as a mommy, and Lionel is adjusting fabulously -- coming a long way from "freaked out" over being called grandpa. "I searched it out," he says, "G-pa sounds a lot better. That's my street name!"

Justin Timberlake also scooped up five awards, and Fergie snagged three -- and told Terri Seymour of her thrill in hitting the "Idol" stage this week. The "Glamorous" singer confessed, "I couldn't look at Paula, Randy or Simon in the face, "cause I felt like I was gonna be judged!"
