Ray’s Ratings Sliced and Diced?

Is Rachael Ray’s syndicated daytime show E-V-O-Over? That’s what PageSix.com is reporting, saying that "The Rachael Ray Show’s" ratings have been soft-boiled, and the show will not be renewed at the end of its contract.

The report has not been confirmed, but Ray’s rep told PageSix that "The Rachael Ray Show" isn’t the only show suffering a drop in ratings; even ratings queen "Oprah" tumbled 15 percent since February 2007.

Should this uncooked rumor prove to be true, Ray will have even more time to make her celebrated "30 Minute Meals" – although she may have to go back to her "$40 a Day" budget.

I think Rachel Ray is a great chef and her show is entertaining and her knowledge is vaste. Her recipes are healthy and not overly complicated or exotic. They are practical. She has a warm personality and her show is a success. I wonder if she’s been out to Paul Newman’s organic restaurant in CT called “The Dressing Room”. Paul., allthough born in Ohio.., is an honarary
Italian and race car driver.

she is overexposed and needs to take a break from the tv show. her 40 bucks a day show and te 30 minute meals are good, but she is not for tv on a daily basis.

The contract runs through 2010 because they gave her a multi year contract. If they would have given her one-year contracts she would have been cancelled by now.

Notice that the contract runs until 2010. That’s a pretty good run and making it sound like the show is going off the air tomorrow is wrong. That’s like saying you’re going to die… in the next 30 years. Sensationalist journalism at its worst.

I hope that the rumors of her show is just rumors. I wanted her show to succeed. she is a beautiful and talented woman. She is also the best-dressed hostress on television. Every time she’s on the air, I just couldn’t take my eyes off her. I love her and I want her show to succeed.
