Paula and Simon: Opposites Distract
Paula Abdul wants the world to know that she's not drunk - just a little distracted. The loopy "American Idol" judge told David Letterman last night that Simon Cowell is the reason for her bizarre antics.
Simon was up to no good last week while Brooke White sang "Love is a Battlefield," says Paula, "He was whispering in my ear that 'Love is a Battlefield' was a yogurt commercial. Now everyone knows he whispers in my ear all the time." Dave then went straight up with Paula on accusations that she's frequently tipsy on camera, asking, "Are you drunk?" Paula shot back, "That's not cool!"
Meanwhile, "Idol" hopefuls will be vying for attention tonight as the top 12 start the big singoff. The two-hour show has former stripper David Hernandez in shock. "Can you pinch me?" he asked "Extra." One would think he's had enough of being pinched!

She has never been drunk in her life according to simon, ryan, and randy’s words. Why do ppl try to put her down??? She is a genuine idol. She is striving to do her best and people always make up crap about her. How would u feel if someone made up lies about u??? It’s retarted that all people have to do is make other people feel bad. She even started crying…….I guess ppl these days don’t have a heart they’re just plain rude and hurtful. Shes done nothing to you so leave HER alone. She’s a fantastic singer and dancer, so respect her for her good deeds && stop LOOKING SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH AT the bad ones its just retarted….&& sad that this is what the world has come too which is making people look bad. she’s more nicer than 1/2 of the people in this world today, so why others say stuff about her is beyond me….
