Madonna has been everywhere promoting her latest album "Hard Candy," but that doesn't mean she hasn't been keeping up with the news. Lady M joined pundits by taking a shot at New Jersey hooker Ashley Dupre during a radio interview with NY Z100 yesterday.

"She's a songbird? Soon to be a jailbird?" Madge joked, "I'm kidding. My God, she didn't do anything wrong did she? Oh - is prostitution legal?" After being reminded that prostitution is in fact not legal, the Material Girl defended her call girl flub by quipping to the DJ, "Well wouldn't that make life simpler for you?"

Madonna told Z100, "I'm not sure I can ever perform 'Holiday' or 'Like a Virgin' again. What would get her to sing them? "$30 million dollars... or if some Russian guy wants me to come to the wedding he's going to have with a 17-year-old, you know it."
