First Look: Britney in Character

"Extra" has your first glimpse of Britney Spears in character on the set of "How I Met Your Mother!"

Spears plays Abbey, a nerdy receptionist with a major crush on a dermatologist -- played by Josh Radnor.

The cast praised Britney's performance when "Extra" spoke to them at a cast party last week. "She seemed very nice and even-keeled," said Neil Patrick Harris. Added Alyson Hannigan, "She's great and she's funny and I think she's going to remind people how talented she is."

Britney's appearance on "How I Met Your Mother" is set to air March 24 on CBS.

it makes me happy to read all the progress Brittney has made. She is a natural and she needs the guidence to get thru her problems. no one can do it alone nd i pray she keeps going in the right direction.

Way to go Brit! Let your parents take care of you! You’ve earned that right to have them support you during this difficult time. Your father has stepped up in a HUGE way!! Let him continue to sort out the mess of the last 2 years. Your die hard fans want you to step back into the spotlight better than ever - be the triple threat that Beonyce and JT think they are - Wishing you the best - p.s. I’m guilty on youtubing some of your unreleased songs and several have a great R & B laid back 80’s sound that is really cool - I hope you release a few. Keep your head up.

I watched it,she was amazing.This is the ‘comeback’she should have had.She looked amazing and she did amazing.Now we she she really is getting back on her feet again!
