Cheryl and Drew Deny Affair

Former dance partners Cheryl Burke and Drew Lachey are coming out swinging, blasting reports that the two had an affair. "I think there should be a new rule: if you are going to call somebody out in a magazine, you should have to put your name on it," Drew told "Extra."


Star magazine claims the two were caught in the act by Cheryl's then-boyfriend, Matthew Lawrence, during the "Dancing with the Stars" tour. But at the William S. Paley Festival in L.A., Cheryl had a different story. "Dancing is a close sport and it's a sensual thing. Rumors, rumors, rumors -- people love that, the tabloids love that, and what can you do? You know you just kind of have to keep living your life."

The reports have co-host Tom Bergeron crying foul, too. "Every season has all kinds of rumors and allegations."

Oh, please, like Star magazine is known for its journalistic integrity. I don’t believe anything from that trashy tabloid. I bet Matt was just bitter about being kicked to the curb and made up this stupid story. The Lawrence brothers are probably Star’s “unnamed sources”. How pathetic.

Someone please tell burke that hunting is a sport, dancing is an art! but maybe it’s a sport for her, and that it is romantic and beautiful not a ‘sensual THING’. She’s a pro?? at?

I don’t think Cheryl is a home wrecker. I guess she couldn’t deal with Matt’s jealousy anymore that’s why she broke up with him, I don’t believe that Drew would risk a wife and a baby.

I love the both of them.and it is a shame they were messing around like that. I like Cheryl with her Matt and was hoping that someday they will get married. But, I feel they had the affair.
