Britney: Pop Star Must Pay Pop

Britney Spears must pay her father Jamie $2,500 a week for being her conservator, court papers reveal. She'll also fork over a $58,800 fee to her court-appointed attorney.

Jamie and co-conservator, attorney Andrew Wallet, were appointed to oversee Britney’s various legal and health matters after she was hospitalized in January. Jamie’s conservatorship was set to expire March 10, but was just extended through July 31. The court has also authorized Brit’s psychiatrist to bring two more doctors on board to evaluate the pop star, and ordered that she pay them about $9,000.

A hearing is set for next week in the ongoing custody dispute between Brit and Kevin Federline. Britney has had limited visitation with Sean and Jayden for the past several weeks.

When I heard that Jamie was taking care of his daughter Britney and taking over her affairs, I thought he was doing it out of love, I see now that he is trying to squeeze her out of money. He should be doing this for her for free not make money from her. He is getting 2400.00 per week?? What is that DADDY, thanks but no thanks…
There you go, poor Britney, she is getting taken advantage of again. Britney, I am sorry that this man called your DAD is such a bonehead.

He should be paid to do this massive clean up job. It is obvious him being in charge is the best thing that ever happened to Brit. If he were not a relative would you be slamming him for getting paid to do the job? Why not attack all those making money off of her who are just using her? Get the scum out of her life and sue them for all the money the scammed from her. Why is K Fed getting money from her? He doesn’t deserve anything just cause he married her and got her pregnant. There should be money going into trust funds for those kids not into federlines pocket. Get over it people

What kind of parents charges their child to take care of them. Her father should be given a swt kick in the a##. Apparently her loves the almighty dollare more than her lovs his child.

this is SICK you should not be paid to care for your child nomatter the age of that child !!!!!!!!!! he was never around for her when she was young he needs to be the resonsible parent HE NEVER WAS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is the media making such a big deal about Mr Spears being paid to handle his daughters affairs, when if it was anyone else the amount would be a lot more. Mr Spears had to quit his job in order to deal with Britney estate, he has a right to make a living. When Britney was on her own people were taking money from her left and right, no one complain. K-fed does absolutely nothing and gets paid 15K. No onw screams about it. His kids are being care for by nannies and bodyguards, while he’s out and about acting like some kind of celebrity, but that seems to be OK with the MEDIA. Leave Mr Spears alone, he is the only one who has done whats best for BRITNEY.
