Presidential hopeful Barack Obama took a breather from politics and hit the Virgin Islands with his family -- and CNN caught the sun-filled vacation on tape. The charismatic contender swapped his swanky suits for shorts and a t-shirt to relax on a lounge chair in the island sun.

But even in St. Thomas, Barack can't escape his fans -- a 6-year-old girl reportedly begged him to pose for a photo with her, and he did.
