I couldn’t be more excited about Kristi Yamaguchi! I’m not sure how level the playing field is going to be. The dedication and training it takes to be a two time world champion and olympic gold medalist is far beyond the ken of most mortals in this day and age.

Plus Kristi is a real American hero and role model. I can think of no one living that I respect more. Check out her “Always Dream” foundation. After she conquers Dancing with the Stars, I hope she runs for President. I’d vote for her!

I agree. I was looking forward to the next season, but I know very few of these “celebrities”. Priscilla Presley should have dropped “Presley” long ago. I doubt anyone would have remembered her as she has leaned on Elvis all these years to remain “known”. This show should also be broken into age categories. There was no way an older person can compete with someone like Apollo Ono.

Love the Show, Last year I was not sure about the choices and it became a fabulous show, didn’t miss a night. Consideration might be Dean Cain, Scott Biao, Suzanne Summers, any one of the soap stars, one of the designing women, How about mylie Cyrus !!!!!!

i meant to say just to name a few couples: brad paisley and kimberly williams paisley. priscilla looks ridiculous with that stretched out face. some needs to put simon cowell on and let him get judged.

I am MOST excited and surprised about Priscilla Presley! She is in great shape and I believe she will set a New Standard for woman everywhere! I’ll be supporting her!

I am saddened by some of the choices for Dancing with the Stars, but who knows…we have been surprised before by underdogs and unknowns ! ! !

I think Kristi, Marlee & Priscilla are good choices as they keep in great shape as shown on interviews on tv. I’m not familiar with most of the guys…I think that could be a bad choice since there are 2x as many women in the world as there are men…hence we watch the reality shows more than men.

Too many unknowns. Penn Gillette, Steve Gutenberg, Kristi Yamaguchi, and Monica Seles are all interesting choices, but even some of the well-known stars, like Priscilla Presley, Marlee Matlin, Marissa Jaret Winokur, and Adam Corolla somehow leave me cold. None of these names match the wish list that we Extra viewers compiled here on this site after the last season ended.
