A little cold weather can’t rain on today’s Oscar parade.

The red carpets have already been rolled out in front of the Kodak Theater for what is going to be the biggest (albeit soggy) star-studded event of the year, the 80th annual Academy Awards.

The most talented actors, directors and producers in Hollywood have already begun to grace the red carpet, including Oscar nominees Ellen Page and Amy Ryan.

Stars will be competing tonight to take home the little gold statue that will leave their handprint on the film industry forever.

“Daily Show” host, Jon Stewart, will be hosting the ceremony for the second time, and the show will be featuring musical performances by Kristin Chenoweth and Amy Adams.

This year’s Best Picture nominees are perhaps the most diverse in years, covering everywhere from the original indie sleeper-hit, "Juno," to the maniacal chase thriller adapted from Cormac McCarthy’s novel by the same name, “No Country For Old Men.”

George Clooney, who has repeatedly voiced his prediction that Daniel-Day Lewis will be taking home the gold for Best Actor, is also in the running with Viggo Mortensen and Johnny Depp.

Best Actress hopefuls include Ellen Page for “Juno,” SAG winner Julie Christie for “Away From Her,” and French actress Marion Cotillard for “La Vie En Rose.”
