Inside Britney's First Night of Lockdown

Is Britney Spears refusing to see her family inside the psych ward of UCLA Medical Center?

X17online.com says Brit has refused to see anyone but her constant companion, Sam Lufti, though her parents Jamie and Lynne have been seen inside the hospital. Sam brushed off reports that he was fighting with Brit's parents, telling paparazzi, "Not at all."

Last night, Sam brought Britney an In 'N Out burger after staying by her side all day. Her cousin Alli Sims was also seen carrying shampoo and other toiletries inside the hospital, but she left a short time later.

"She's fine," is all Alli told X17.

According to People, Brit is being treated by an experienced and "compassionate" therapist - the same one who called in her hospitalization Wednesday night.

Heard that a major news organization is offering a prize to whoever can write the best obit for Brit. You get to read it at her funeral if you win. Where do I sign up?

Leave britney alone??? Everyone keeps saying that but she is a grown woman with two children that she has single handedly lost custody of by her actions. I understand that she may not be well, but she chooses to step out of her house everyday to be in the spotlight. Her house, I am sure, has all the amenties and more to not have to leave or get her people to run errands for her. Britney has and continues to be destructive with her life and her childrens life. People keep making excuses for her. I say grow up Britney!! Your a 26 year old woman and a mother now. Its time to take responsibility of her actions. If it was a nonfamous person, we would not be so dismissive of her behavior.

Thank God her parents intervened and put her in the hospital. If she was my child she would have been in there long time ago. At the first sign of her shaving her head was showing she was not right in her mind. I hope they keep her there more than l4 days. She needs to be in a sanitarium longer than that in order to get better. Otherwise, this poor woman is going to wind up hurting herself or someone else or even wind up dead.

Imagine if this was you, put yourself in her shoes… she needs lots of prayers and for everyone to quit judging her. She is lost right now and yes making some poor choices…but we all have. I pray that she gets well and gets her kids back, they need their mother.

while everyone is quick to blame the paps for following Ms. Brit so closely…..the blame really has to go on Brit herself. She dangles herself in front of the shutterbugs just for the sheer joy of being photographed. She is mentally unbalanced and needs desparately for someone to take over her care permanently! I dounbt she will ever be a substancial person in society. A lot of the blame here needs to go straight on Brit herself. What a waste of a life!

I don’t want to point fingers and I don’t want to criticize anyone because it doesn’t help anyone. I just hope and pray that she will get the help she needs so she can be reunited with her entire family. They are all going through a very difficult time and I wish them well.

After her hospital care, she needs to get out of the spotlight, and get further care. Surround herself by love ones that actually care for her well being and not her financial matters. This girl will never have a normal life as long as she has people around her that just want a piece of the “Britney Saga”.

It took 10 years of caring for my 30 year old wife and 3 young children to brake the cycle of improper medications for depression. Only a close care giver understands the real personality of the broken person. It takes a lot of understanding to care for people with mental illness.I found often Doctors try their best often only experimenting along the route until something works. My wife’s situation is now another 17 sucessful years behind us. With very moderate medication I have my wife back from her long journey. We live a very happy life and appreciate every day.It will take time for this young lady Brit to heel.I agree the media should pull back and give Brit a long overdue rest.People are interested in the super star…only in a good way. Do not exploit this poor girl when she’s down…this may pay off when she gets feeling better in a few years.

I think Britney has to get her act together and do some serious thinking and growing up. She has to realize only she can control her own thoughts and her own life and health, not anyone else . And that taking drugs or drinking booze does not help! She has to eat better and stay off the booze and drugs for starters. Its just that so much is on her shoulders. She is sterssed out from too much on her plate! And having people tell you what you need to do does not help!!She needs someone in her life that is always there for her and not someone to alway try to control her! She needs space and truth in her life, and to learn what it is that is causing her to lose it! Maybe she has an overactive thyroid. She should be thoroughly checked by a Medical Doctor before she sees a psychiatrist for they dont alway help! (I know been there). All psychologist and psychiatrist do is help you find out what your problem is; give you a solution, but guess what? You still have to solve your own problems. So why do we need shrinks? What many people need is better diets, rest for their bodies and when your sick see a Dr, not a shrink! Many times all it is, is that your glands are overstressed (especially those who are in show business, just look at Oprah!) I know for many in my family are in show business! Get your thyroid and adrenal glands checked Britney!! Your NOT crazy! Your exhausted, by all the STRESS in your life!! Give Britney a break!! Leave her aloen so she can ehal. Nerves take a long time to heal. Leave her alone!!

How sad that the media is so focused on this troubled young woman. The statement, “she chose the spotlight” couldn’t be further from the truth. A child of 11 cannot possibly comprehend at what expense fame comes…but her parents can. Also, as far as her speaking with a British accent…this doesn’t seem so bizarre when one takes into consideration that her grandmother is British…hmmmm….do you think she grew up hearing that accent? Its time the press and media move on to something newsworthy. This has taken on the morbidity of rubberneckers slowing down for an accident to see if they can see any bodies.

Please do not judge Britney`s mother, any one who is a parent of a twenty six year old child has no control, I pray for a happy ending.

This whole thing is really sad!
I hope Britany gets the help she needs!
I do think that leaving LA and going to a smaller town could do her some good…..Why cant these camera people find something better to do with their time……and better yet The general public should stop buying into all of this gossip garbage and put these camera junkies out of business!

For the person who said “she should just kill herself!” How can you say something like that about a human being. Yes Brit chose the spot light and yes being hounded by the press comes with that. But imagine what she is going through. The whole world is seeing her melt down. Yes she wasn’t the best performer, but believe it or not many little girls, teens, and adults look up to her. Killing herself would be a mistake…Any person who gives that advice needs to reevaluate their life them self. Britney is not the only person suffering from mental illness. And the stigma behind mental illness is what causes people to react the way they do to Britney….

The parents are both mentally and physically fit to care for Britney. They should be awarded the ability to care for Britney during this critical point in her life. Sam is only a guy making a living in Hollyweird which is not conducive to Britney’s mental treatment.

I think Britney should just kill herself. She is a lunatic & a horrible preformer and a waste of media time. How about covering people worth giving airtime to, like the thousdands of young kids fighting and losing their lives over in Iraq?

The time has come to leave Ms. Britney alone. She is a nice young lady and should be treated as one. Maybe the papers should print the truth!!!
