Questions for Mario and Tanika?

Do you have any questions or suggestions for Tanika and Mario? Let us know below and we'll answer them on next weekend's "Extra!"

Turban Trouble for Barack

Hot on the high heels of John McCain’s alleged sex scandal, presidential candidate Barack Obama is at the center of a new political firestorm after being photographed wearing a turban. It’s just the latest salvo in the year of smear, and now fingers are pointing to Hillary Clinton for the alleged leak of the curious pic. Clinton’s camp denies it leaked the photo.

Now many are wondering if Obama’s main supporter – Oprah Winfrey – will weigh in on the new controversy over the candidate she helped vault to stardom. “Extra” contacted Oprah today and her reps told us she’s unavailable for comment.

This season of scandal isn’t stopping Hollywood from taking sides. George Clooney said he’s just one of many A-listers backing Barack. “I like Hillary, and I know her very well and I like her very much. I’ve just never been around anything like Obama.” Keep Reading...

New Dude Among Jen’s Men?

Does Jennifer Aniston have a new boy toy? Maybe.

But more importantly, is he boyfriend material? Let’s hope so! “Extra” spotted the lovelorn starlet with a hunky new dude at best friend Courteney Cox’s home for a post-Oscar bash.

For now, he’s a mystery man, but one Jen thinks enough of to bring to Courteney’s party.

Jen reportedly arrived in her Range Rover with the new guy, and left with him later in the same vehicle.

True to form, Jen dodged the paparazzi as she made her exit.

Cate Blanchett: Under My Skin

0226cate.jpg

Cate Blanchett is thick-skinned about not winning another Oscar, but she’s still a winner. “I didn’t have any expectations,” she tells “Extra.” Cate’s certainly a winner today -- a beauty award winner.

The radiantly pregnant Cate told us why she’s never needed help looking flawless. “Your skin changes when you’re pregnant. I think with hormonal shifts, it could’ve gone quite crazy!” So how does she maintain that perfect porcelain skin?

The secret is a skin care line called SK-II and its magical little ingredient called “Pitera” that keeps the starlet aglow. “Basically it’s like a power drink,” she says. “It’s this beautiful bottle of clear liquid, full of vitamins and minerals.” Cate began using SK-II seven years ago, and now serves as the company’s global ambassador.

She’s now launching her own brand of the skin care line, “Cate’s Essentials Kit,” which includes a facial treatment mask. “It’s cotton and you look like Hannibal Lecter. But you don’t look like Hannibal Lecter when you take it off.” Let’s hope not!

Whoopi Snubbed by Oscar?

"Extra" was at last night's Golden Mike event in New York City, where Barbara Walters went on the record about Whoopi Goldberg's Oscars montage snub. "She's wonderful. She's fine. She had a moment," Walters told us, adding, "I love Whoopi. She deserves an award every day."

0226barbara.jpg

Goldberg was the first woman to host the Academy Awards (in 1994), but was omitted from the host montage during Sunday night’s broadcast, leaving the “View” co-host choked up yesterday, where she told her fellow yentas, “Undoubtedly, I pissed somebody off again.”

Goldberg, 52, appeared in another montage showing fellow Oscar winners. She won for 1990’s “Ghost.” Whoopi went on to host the Oscars again in ’96, ’99 and ’02.

Barbra Walters added that Steve Martin was also omitted from the host review. "We think you're a great host," Walters said, consoling her chat comrade.

The brilliant Elisabeth Hasselbeck suggested, "I think we should do our own montage of you to make up for it.” Hasselback then got up from her seat and pecked both Walters and Whoopi on the cheek. It was unclear whether Whoopi was comforted.

The Unjaded Mrs. Smith Reveals All

0226jada.jpg

Jada Pinkett-Smith was honored with Essence magazine's Power Award at their first annual Black Women in Hollywood luncheon, and best friends Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes added some star wattage to the affair. The Power Award is given in recognition of a trailblazer and innovator in the community.

Now Jada's talking with "Extra" about her rocky beginnings, revealing for the first time that her rock solid exterior comes from growing up in a family stricken by substance abuse. "I watched my aunt and my mother go through addiction," she confessed. "And how they struggled with addiction and went in and out of rehab."

Jada attributes her own warrior attitude to watching her family fight through years of hardship, but the starlet says her strength also comes from her own warrior -- hubby Will Smith. Jada says that Will, her "yum-yum cake," is her main source of strength.

K-Fed’s Lawyer: The Kids Are Alright

“Extra” caught up with K-Fed’s attorney, the dapper Mark Vincent Kaplan, outside the courthouse today, and we asked the superlawyer to discuss his client’s decision to allow Britney visitation with the kids.

“I think both sides wanted that to occur as soon as possible,” Kaplan said. “As soon as there were certain things in place that enabled him to be comfortable that this was an appropriate time [it was arranged].”

Kaplan revealed to “Extra” that Spears’ family had a huge impact on the decision to let Brit see her boys, saying, “Her dad, Jamie, is obviously a positive influence. It looks to be more of a stable setting over there [Britney’s home].”

Unfortunately, the supervised visits with her sons won’t affect Britney’s case. Kaplan explained, “Visitation is immensely important. They have to go well over time. It’ll start ramping up [if they do].” Ramping up is a legal term that would allow the custody rules to change gradually, depending on whether or not events (and Brit’s behavior) remain consistent.
