How Was Jon Stewart's Performance?

Jon Stewart joins a long list of Academy Award hosts who have made history and headlines with their performances. How would you rate Jon?

A) Perfectly Memorable

B) Utterly Forgettable

NEXT: Inside the Governors Ball

Jon was hilarious and those who don’t agree are obviously too lose to ‘know’ better. 30 - 60 years man get a new hobby. Comparing him to Ellen real wacko. Come on back Jon you were wonderful.

Jon Stewart was a gracious host and the unforgetable moment was whe he invited the star from Once back on stage to share her thoughts. I was moved, Thank you Jon, for being human on an otherwordly evening. I love the Oscars.

Jon Stewart is boring, he simply does NOT have the sparkle that Billy Crystal has. HE’S NOT FUNNY NOR ENTERTAINING. I hope they bring Billy back if they want to keep their audience.

Jon Stewart did a remarkable job considering his time constraints. He improved upon his first academy awards appearance, which admittedly was more of a political rant along the lines of Michael Moore and Bill O’Reily, by taking lighter cracks at the actors. Overall, I’d say he’s a mainstay Oscar host.

Jon was brilliant! It’s not difficult to see that those who don’t like him are right wing conservatives who just won’t like anything that’s intelligent.

Jon Stewart was terrible. After a couple of minutes, I changed the channel and never went back. I rather watch Pride and Prejudice on PBS than to listen to his dribble. Billy Crystal was the BEST. So I decided to get the highlights from EXTRA! GREAT JOB, EVERYBODY!!!!!

Jon Stewart was awesome! He’s funny, natural, sweet.
The only reason to watch The Oscars is if they host is good and Jon Stewart was. It really feels like he has a distance to both himself and to Hollywood, something that’s quite rare and something that many viewers really appreciate. :)

The vote totals do not represent the comments page, what gives? Jon Stewart is NOT funny. Leave the politics out of the show. It’s supposed to be about the movies, which are not good any more either.

STEWART IS THE WORSE HOST I HAVE EVER SEEN ON THE SHOW IN THE 30 YEARS I HAVE BEEN WATCHING IT, HE IS NOT SMOOTH AND HASN’T ANY PERSONALITY HE CERTAINLY IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO ELLEN,BILLY CRYSTAL OR ANYONE ELSE I HAVE SEEN HOSTING. HE MADE THE SHOW VERY IRRITATING AND UNINTERESTING. IN SHORT HE STINKS

I watch the oscars to see who the academy members believe the best of the best are ! NOT to hear the liberal bent from the likes of Clooney et. el….!

I thoroughly enjoyed Jon Stewart — his comedy is refreshing; plus he is fine, fine, and oh — did I say — so fine and classy!

The OSCAR show goes out world wide and I do not think Jon’s jokes appropriate for world wide audiences ,also children should be able to be watching but not if he is host.

Unfortunately, the shows very poor production value was compounded by Stewart’s worst hosting that I have seen in my 60 years.
