Michelle Williams Arrives in New York

Michelle Williams, said to be "devastated" by Heath Ledger's death, has arrived back in New York from Sweden.

The grieving star, 27, immediately left her film set there and flew back to Brooklyn last night with daughter Matilda, 2.

Yesterday, Heath's body was released by the coroner to a funeral home in New York, where a private viewing is reportedly set to take place today.

Maybe I didnt know Heath Ledger personally. But based on what was going on in his life, He probably had to much on his shoulders. I feel for the man, he needed to sleep and was overwhelmed by his movies, by losing the love of his life Michelle and being away from Matilda. I Dont think he killed himself.I just think this poor guy needed to rest and perhaps he took a lethal combination of sleep aids.. I feel so bad for his family, its heart breaking. I just hope everyone is there for Michelle too. They may have split, but that doesnt mean she isnt hurting. Its unfortunate all the way around. It was a tragic end to an amazing man.

unfortunately taking a few benedryll doesn’t quite cut it for everyone. I’m 27, and have had severe insomnia for many years. I can tell you that I have tried it all and what works for you does not mean it will work for everyone. Severe insomnia can take a devastating toll on your life. When you can’t sleep, you can’t function. You wonder why the rest of the world is asleep as you are lying in bed, thoughts racing in your head, staring at the ceiling. Making yourself drowsy isn’t the problem. Making the anxiety go away, so you can calm down, now that’s another story. Heath, you were an incredible actor, and from one insomniac to another, I feel the pain you went through. It’s a horrible thing, not being able to sleep. I can empathize with wanting to take anything and everything in sight just to get a few hours of sleep so you can make it through the day. YES, taking multiple prescriptions together is not the right thing to do, but when you get to that breaking point where you either sleep, or go crazy due to the lack of sleep, I totally get. I should have died many times but for whatever reason, I didn’t. The doctors obviously didn’t know any better. Mine didn’t….and you’re supposed to trust your doctor. It seems to be way to easy for them to pull out that pad of paper and start writing prescriptions left and right. Rest in Paradise Heath, and I hope you found the peace it seems you so desperately needed. Michelle, as a fan of Dawson’s Creek growing up, you are in my thoughts as well. Thank you to both of you for the constant entertainment you have given to all of us.

Heath was a one of a kind guy. You could tell he had such warmth and sweetness in his eyes. There will definitely not be another like him.

I was very sad and shocked when I heard the news the other day. He was such a talented actor. I still can`t believe it, I can only imagine what the family is going thru. My thoughts are with Michelle and Matilda, God bless you.

My prayers go out to his family. Michelle must be a good woman to rush home, considering they are no longer a couple. They must have put the little girl first instead of themselves, unlike some people. God bless them all.

I think the Doctor had him on the wrong drugs. He needed to be diagnosed better to find the right drug for him. I would have recommended Lithium, it works well!! for the symptoms he had!! I think it was accidental and all he wanted was a good nights sleep, he had too much on the go with his work. Doctor’s should say take a break and get better before you start working again. I think there was negligence on the Doctor’s part. God Bless Heath and all those who are associated to him, May he rest in Peace!!!
