Michael Jackson Planning a Superbowl Comeback?
Michael Jackson is planning a comeback - and it's starting at the Superbowl.
In order to pump up the 25th anniversary of "Thriller," a commercial for SoBe Life Water will air during the game with a "Thriller" theme, according to the New York Post. This is all being done as part of a major public relations campaign to boost Jackson's career.
In addition, Jackson will reportedly appear at the Grammy Awards Feb. 10 with Fergie performing remixed versions of the "Thriller" album tracks, though he's not performing.
Jackson hasn't released an album since 2001.

Wow it amazes me how ‘journalists’ get away with writing and publishing such inaccurate drivel. I’m in school for this and I would never put out a story like that with or without my name on it. Michael Jackson has had numerous albums since 1995’s ‘HIStory’. 1997 saw the release of ‘Blood on the Dance Floor’ (a remix of HIStory that included 5 new tracks) which became the best selling remix CD of all time. In 2001 he released ‘Invincible’ which debuted at number 1 in 13 countries (the US included) and became the fastest selling album of his entire career and to date has sold around 10 million copies. In 2003 he released ‘Number Ones’ which was a greatest hits album with one new track ‘One More Chance.’ He also released ‘The Ultimate Collection’ in 2004 which is his only career spanning greatest hits package starting from his work in the Jackson 5 to his present day work, it also featured several unreleased tracks from each era of his career and a DVD of his 1993 concert in Bucharest Romania. In 2005 his label released The Essential Michael Jackson, which was a 2 disc greatest hits collection with no new material. So he’s definitely had very lucrative CD releases since 1995.
