Annette, personally I think Angelina needs help, but many people, stars included, adopt from other countries because the US looks down on letting “older” people/women adopt in the US.By the time it is clear that you cannot have a kid on your own, if you are say 40, they won’t let you adopt. It’s a dumb policy. Many stars would adopt in the US if they could. Blame the red tape. At least she is able to raise her daughter, better than the child rotting away in an orphanage.

It’s nice to see Meg Ryan again. I’ve been following her career since the 1980’s and she’s never this more beautiful. I’m in love with meg back then, and still in love with her today.

I have always been a huge fan…but since her surgery…she has lost her big screen appeal….I agree with Jan…she does look like she has been sucking on lemons…what is that saying???…don’t fix it if it ain’t broke!

WTF? And why are american babies worth more than babies from REALLY poor countries? I am sick and tired of americans thinking their kids have more rights than children from really poor countries. Maybe your government should support US girls who give birth at a young age - US still has the highest teen pregancy rate - so they can KEEP their babies, or give out free birthcontrol. Your country is rich enough to do so!

I applaud women like Meg and Angelina Jolie for adopting. It does not matter where the baby is from! Thanks for reporting on this, Extra!!

I AM so sick and tired of reading & hearing about ALL these ‘hollywood-type’ people who adopt children from other countries…..why don’t they adopt children here in the USA whom are just as deserving as other children.
