Is an epic diva fight in the making between Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey?

Today rumors are running rampant that the legendary songbirds are feuding. Whispers started when several internet gossip blogs quoted Mariah as saying she'd rather appear on stage "with a pig" than do a duet with Lopez.

But "Extra" has learned there is absolutely no truth to the rumor. Mariah's reps tell "Extra" that the story is "a complete untruth."

They do have something in common named Mottola. Mariah definitely has the better voice - ah that voice. She is a songbird. JLo does well with short rap-type songs.
