Kanye West Says Playing Games Helped Him 'Zone Out'

Kanye West is speaking out for the first time since the tragic death of his mother Donda last November.

The rapper posted a blog, titled "Thank you for all your support," on his Web site and wrote that he used the game Connect Four as therapy.

"When I was in Europe I would play this game for hours and hours," he said. "It helped me zone out."

He also posted pictures of Beyoncé playing the game with him and called her the "legendary connect [four] champion."

"She beat me 9 times in a row! (and I didn't even spaz lol)," he wrote.

He ended his posting with, "Happy new year everybody."

Hello all, i must say Kanye West had one of the best albums this yr…i will not say THE BEST but is was def. one of the best albums this year for hip hop. Yea he whines alot but he is def. talented, and that is all we should be judging him on….not his personal life, not what happened with his mother because if that happened to anyone of us we would be hurt just as he was. I also don’t think he is racist, it’s just entertainment. Thats the problem with people today, they believe everything that they hear. Anyways, all im saying is don’t judge him as if he’s your favorite tv character…he makes music, and he does it well. Happy new years to all!
