Dr. Phil Cancels Show on Britney's Intervention

Dr. Phil McGraw has canceled his upcoming show dedicated to his hospital chat with Britney Spears.

In a statement on his site, he says:

"As was widely reported this weekend, at the request of concerned family members, I visited Britney Spears in the hospital. The details of that visit will, of course, remain private.

"We had planned to tape a Dr. Phil Now show today, focusing not on the tabloid side of Britney's latest problems, but instead on the very serious issues surrounding this case. Clearly, it is not just Britney's family struggling to find a way to protect adult children who cannot be ordered or compelled to seek help.

"Because the Spears situation is too intense at this time, and out of consideration to the family, I have made the decision not to move forward with the taping at this particular time.

"Britney and her family are in our prayers, and we ask that they be in yours."

quit hating, britney spears has obvious problems that control her, not the other way around. On any interview i have seen her on she seemed to be a sweet person who is a product of her enviroment. We should be be praying (if your the praying type) that she does overcome the many obsticls she has in her life and finds some inner peace and happiness. this should be our hope for everyone even those people were not particulary fond of. “think golden rule”

Dr Phil should know better than to exploit someones diagnosis. Shame on him for doing this at the same time he says someone should help her.

I also noticed on todays viewing of Extra that Extra even filmed outside of Britney’s home knowing that the stalking of someone’s mental status is flat out wrong! Shame on you Extra. You should have left that out!

Britney is nothing more than a spoiled little brat. She never matured mentally. She throws temper tantrums to try to get her way, i.e., locking herself up with her son. Kevin no longer puts up with her antics. And having the media chase her around like she is a megastar is just adding fuel to the fire.
