The medical examiner's office announced today that an autopsy on Heath Ledger was inconclusive.
More tests are needed to determine how the promising young actor died yesterday in Manhattan. Police say he was found on the floor near his bed with several bottles of sleeping pills, and his death may have been caused by a drug overdose. It appears to be accidental.

He was amazing actor & much more mature compared to many other actors. I’m 26 & can’t imagine at 28 dieing, so sad & his family & friends must be a wreck, I didn’t know him & makes me feel very sad. My thoughts are with his family & friends.
heath ledger was absulutley the best actor and when i herd about this tragic death i was hart broken and poring tears he is and always will be my favorit actor

I was sad to hear about Heath Ledger death. Although I had not seen his movies,I hate to hear of a young person dieing. I hope the young people in show business will see what happen to Heath Ledger,and get their act together. Because if not they to can in up like Heath Ledger.
It is so sad. I really enjoyed his acting. 10 Things I Hate About You, The Patriot,Four Feathers, Candy. I was so looking forward to anything upcoming. I hope this is a wake up call to all the young and obviously out of control celebrities. Make an imprint for life, not leave one in death.

Sadness once again as another young Hollywood Star is taken from us. Way too young to die and Matlida will miss him ! God Bless her and his family . What a great actor and huge loss .
This is just so horrible. All I can think about is his wife and their beautiful daughter Matilda. I have a daughter the same age and My heart goes out to the family.
When i heard the news yesterday,i was so shocked.I can’t believe he is death.
I watched every movie and film he played in it and i loved what he did.
Hollywood had lost a very young,kind,truly,funny,sexy,honest,wonderful,
person,actor and legend of all the Time!!

I am very shocked to hear that Heath Ledger died. I swear that I was hearing things when this story was broadcasted on the radio. I loved the movies that he did and he will be greatly missed and my regards go out to him and his family. It’s the worst feeling to have to hear that your son who was only 28 die before they do.
When I heard the new I was devasted for my beloved actor, I love you Heath and you are and always will be my best actor of all time.

His poor little daughter Matilda. My heart is with the family, and is especially with Michelle Williams. Must be so hard to look at her daughter, such sadness, she looks just like him.
