The Screen Actors Guild nominations were announced today, and George Clooney scored a nod for Best Actor in "Michael Clayton."

George joins Daniel Day Lewis, Ryan Gosling, Emile Hirsch and Viggo Mortensen in the Best Actor category. For Best Actress, Cate Blanchett will compete against Julie Christie, Marion Cotillard, Angelina Jolie and newcomer Ellen Page.

For the cast of a motion picture, it's "3:10 to Yuma," "American Gangster," "Hairspray," "Into the Wild" and "No Country for Old Men."

In the Best Supporting Actor category, it's Casey Affleck, Javier Bardem, Hal Holbrook, Tommy Lee Jones and Tom Wilkinson. Cate Blanchett is also nominated in the supporting categories, along with Ruby Dee, Catherine Keener, Amy Ryan and Tilda Swinton.

James Gandolfini leaves "The Sopranos" with a bang with a Best Actor in a Drama Series in the TV category. He joins Michael C. Hall, Jon Hamm, Hugh Laurie and James Spader.

Best Actress in a Drama nods go to Glenn Close, Edie Falco, Sally Field, Holly Hunter and Kyra Sedgwick.

For comedy, Alec Baldwin joins Steve Carell, Ricky Gervais, Jeremy Piven and Tony Shalhoub in the comedy category. Then it's Christina Applegate, America Ferrera, Tina Fey, Mary-Louise Parker and Vanessa Williams.

Outstanding Ensemble, Drama: "Boston Legal," "The Closer," "Grey's Anatomy," "Mad Men" and "The Sopranos."

Outstanding Ensemble, Comedy: "30 Rock," "Desperate Housewives," "Entourage," "The Office" and "Ugly Betty."
